Outstanding kit! The presentation as you open the box provides the initial wow factor. Build stages are individually boxed, with two thick instruction manuals that also tell a story as you progress through. It’s very well detailed as expected at this price point. I was really impressed by the strength engineered in as you’re working through the build. Elements that appear unsupported are later braced and the whole car holds together well once built. Gear box is very technical and it’s nice to see the W16 engine executed well.
The wheels, exclusive to this kit are perfectly formed, but as with other large Lego sets, the tyres are generic and too small.
It’s hard to find fault, but if I was being picky, I’d prefer more printed elements rather than stickers.

I’m coming towards the end of building this set a present to myself at christmas and for a really good price, so far I have only built Creator Expert models and this blows them away in almost all aspects, for a start this model is certainly large it’s also heavier than expected, I have nearly finished the build now with only 1 box left to do the details are incredible from the w16 engine movement to the gearbox which is a masterpiece, each axle has a working differential amongst other mechanical details, this is a must for any Lego fan or anyone with a mechanical mind or interest, its certainly a challenge even for an experienced builder
This is a must buy if you can afford it!

Where do I start. You will not throw away any of the boxes the set comes in because they are too beautiful. The print on the boxes is done in such way that you can have a view of either the front or the back of the Chiron depending on the way you lay them out within the main box. Stunning! Even the main box has silhouettes of previous Bugattis printed on the inside!
The instructions are a sight to behold. Apart from the usual Lego quality, they have beautiful pictures of the real car as well as extra info on the whole assembly process. You can even listen a podcast while building the car.
Car itself is full of details and therefore challenging. It has a working gearbox with paddle shifters!
If you have the money and space for this car (it’s massive), I highly recommend you go out and buy the set.

There are plenty of reviews that detail what’s so great about this build so I’ll make the pros brief;
Great presentation, packaging is brilliant and the numbering on the bags and boxes makes build really simple (much like the 911 GT3 RS)
It’s good fun building and seeing the finished product
The small details are awesome, the W16 engine is really impressive, the moving parts remind you why these are so expensive
Improvements:
On the instruction book, I’d like there to be detail around the part you’re building. For the price (when not on sale), it’s a lot of money for a load of lego and a complicated instruction book, but I’d like to learn what part I’m building, just a small description every time you start another sub assembly aside from the car would be great, and youd learn loads about the assembly process for a car and how things work.
Other than that I cant fault it, the online images dont do it justice, it looks great when you finish it and the quality of the product is awesome!

Brilliant build, I did 1 bag a day witch took me 1:30hs-2:00hs to complete there’s 13 bags in the box so it took me 13days to complete. 100% recommend

Firstly delivery was very good from amazon, I even got a approximate time slot too and it came in that time, so well done there. It came in the usual amazon box, then the official Lego box that comes with big Lego sets of which this is. I haven’t even started it yet. But after I’d got it out of the amazon packaging (of which amazon you do need to review how much packaging you use for all items gotta say), then the beautiful luxurious blue box with the incredible Bugatti Chiron on it (Lego version of course). Then I opened the box and wow. It’s so different to any other Lego set. Being a Lego set of this magnitude you have to go to town a little and boy Lego and Bugatti have gone to town. When you lift the lid, it’s all split into different boxes bearing part of the vehicle. The middle is the instruction book, then the stickers, then another box, then wow another instruction book, 2 yes two instruction books for one Lego set. As I say I haven’t started it yet as I’m doing another two instruction book Lego set as we speak but really looking forward to getting into this beautiful luxurious incredible Lego set. Lego and Bugatti well done. Can’t wait to see the finished article soon.

A very interesting and challenging set that looks great when completed and will certainly appreciate in value with time – there aren’t many things you can say that about, but the higher cost Lego sets are one of them.
There are six sub-boxes, each of which is a nice building session on its own. Inside the boxes are numbered bags, doing the numbers one at a time helps to avoid mistakes. As always with lego, lots of spares for the smaller parts – to the point where you wonder if you missed something…!
All in all, an absorbing build with nice background details from the manual and supporting podcasts.
