It arrive on time and not dissapointed of the size and quality

The Lego set arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed in a well-illustrated retail box, in typical Lego fashion. This model number 75571 set is based on the original Avatar movie and features 560 pieces.

The set comes with a Thanator animal, AMP Suit, two minifigures, and a rainforest scene. Building the set was a fun and pleasant experience, in part due to the many pieces and well-illustrated, easy to follow instructions.

The Thanator looks really cool, especially with its six legs and there’s quite a bit of movement in the model. The head can look up and down as well as rotate, the jaw opens and closes (a little difficult to open), the legs can be posed in different ways, and the tail can move up and down. Neytiri can be placed on top of Thanator and a connection made between them by joining Thanator’s antenna to Neytiri’s head.

The Amp suite mech is my favourite model in this set as it looks great and its very detailed with how all the pieces join together. The front canopy opens up where you can place the Colonel inside, and you can pose the mech in some really cool ways as the legs and arms have multiple joints. It’s a shame the mech gets a chainsaw instead of a gun but apart from that it’s a great model!

The Pandora theme build is another really detailed set with plenty to look at and it’s a decent size. There’s a good mix of flora, you can angle them in different ways, and the glow in the dark elements look brilliant, it’s a great feature indeed. You can attach theme builds from other Lego Pandora sets to this one and make one large, themed area which is also pretty cool.

Overall, I think this is an ideal Lego set for collectors and fans of the Avatar series as everything looks really cool and it would look brilliant on show. The price is quite high, but you do get a decent number of pieces and the licensing does play a big part in this so it’s pretty good value for money. It’s certainly a set I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel it’s worth the full five stars!

This is a brilliantly themed action lego figure set based on the latest hugely popular Avatar series of movies.

You get popular characters from the film to build , the characters including colonel quaritch with his armoured AMP suit aren’t that hard to build , my 10 year old son who is lego mad, had these built in no time at all.

The beauty of this set is once you have put the figures and forest scenery together , you then have a good little action figure set to play with too and the figures are quite solid and don’t fall apart too easily.

You get the thanator animal figure too , the detail in the characters is impressive, it’s not cheap looking at all and is durable , if you don’t loose the pieces this set will last a life time.

This could also be a nice lego display set too for movie fans who like to collect figures and models, it’s a colourful set that catches the eye.

You can place the small neytiri figure on the animals back too , it adds more detail and fun to the action play.

The attention to small detail is good in this lego set , it’s one that can be played with regularly or put on display , it’s not too hard to build but you can then play with it, I think it’s great quality and an excellent theme.

It would make an excellent gift too to any lego fans, I actually think it’s good value. 👍
