The Lego set arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed in a well-illustrated retail box, in typical Lego fashion. This model number 76411 Hogwarts Ravenclaw House Banner set is part of the Harry Potter series and features 305 pieces. All the pieces are high quality and nicely detailed.
It does require a bit of assembly along with some stickers to apply. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. As with other Lego sets everything is made to a high standard, fits perfectly together and is very colourful, I especially like the 3D card which looks really cool.
Along with the house banner you get three mini figure characters from the Ravenclaw house with alternating faces along with some fun accessories like Cornish Pixies, a Defence Against the Dark Arts book (which opens but sadly has nothing inside), two lamps, and some nicely designed armchairs.
The Common Room has some nice details to it and it’s my personal favourite out of the four Banners in these sets. Some of the details include two seating areas on either side with some books behind them, several different shelfs with other books and little trinkets on, the 3D statue of Rowena Ravenclaw, and my favourite area which is the candlelit Ravenclaw banner which sits above a cosy looking fireplace.
Overall, I think out of the four House Banners this is the best one for visual details and the mini figures that you get. Not only that but it looks great on the wall whether its open or closed. The only thing what lets these sets down is the price, I feel £30 is asking too much for what you are getting, even with the Harry Potter license. Apart from that though it’s a set I’m happy to recommend and I feel four stars is appropriate for it!

I love this idea of having a Lego set as both an art piece you can hang on the wall and also a play set. There are of course down sides of this dual use. In particular the large amount of rear base plates in view when using it as a playset. Despite this, these sets are full of detail and it is quite obvious that the set designer really poured their heart into this project.
This is one of 4 sets you can buy of this type (one for each Hogwarts school house). All 4 are quite similar in that they have 3 minifigs and some furniture, accessories to accompany the room backdrop which is the main star of these sets. And of course, the house crest which you can display by closing up the set and hanging it on your wall
None of the 4 sets are particularly weak or strong compared to the others. All the sets use this 3D animated affect card which is inserted behind the backdrop wall. As you move your viewpoint the image you see changes. This images line-up with holes deliberately left in the backdrop wall and appear as windows, pictures, fire etc.
Some sets have many small images and some have larger images. This set (Ravenclaw) uses much larger holes in the backdrop wall and thus larger images than some of the others. The images are bigger and more striking, but you lose out on variety compared to some of the others (see Hufflepuff).
This set comes with a Cornish Pixie which is new for 2023 and only currently available in 2 sets. In the other sets from this collection, you get much more common animals/pets e.g., snitch (5 sets) or snake (8 sets)
Although it is tempting to try to min/max and choose a set which might give you the most for your money. There are no truly weak sets among these four, so just go ahead and pick the house that most appeals to you. You won’t be disappointed whichever set of these four you choose. Both aesthetics and playability boxes get a big tick here.
