This is Not suitable for children under 16 Years, so don’t be foolish thinking it is suitable children under 16.
Children should keep to the sets meant for them. There are sets for Adults and those over 18, which are definitely not for children under 18years old.
It’s very expensive on Amazon.
It would be cheaper from Lego.com

The designer knew his stuff, he did a real good job of turning the creators design and turning it into the model sat on my desk.
It is a complex build with multiple build techniques, I wouldn’t recommend this set for people new to Lego or young children.

This is a really wonderful set. I got it on sale for $175 (I’ve never seen it that low again). Gift for my 20-year old son, who built it in a few days. The detail is crazy and so many things move (doors, swing, winch). The roof of each room comes off so you can see what is inside. You can change the color of the leaves as the seasons change. It’s beautiful and fun. We are displaying it in our living room because I just love it!
